The Field Museum, Chicago, Illinois.    Founded in 1893, the Museum is one of the world's leading
natural history research institutions.  Its geology, botany, zoology and anthropology collections total
more than 20 million objects, thousands of which are on exhibit



Sue, the largest, most complete, and best-preserved Tyrannosaurus rex sekeleton every  found,
was discovered in 1990 near Faith, South Dakota, by fossil hunter Susan Hendrickson.
Sue's mounted sekeleton was unveiled at The Field Museum on May 17, 2000.

Sue's skeleton on display in darkened Stanley Field Hall.



Sue's 600-pound skull took a team of seven preparators over 3,500 hours to clean and restore.



Fighting African Elephants on display in Stanley Field Hall.
These world-famous Kenyan elephants have been on display at The Field Museum since 1921.

我住的地方没有橡胶园，
所以从小到大都没有见过咯。。。
